KIT scientists are awarded German Entrepreneur Award

Great success for Baden-Württemberg‘s scientific offspring! The trio of engineers Dr. Tim Böltken (33), Philipp Engelkamp (27) and Dr. Paolo Piermartini (37) from the prestigious research university Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) were awarded the German Entrepreneur Award, Germany’s most prestigious acknowledgement of entrepreneurial excellence and achievement for their Startup INERATEC GmbH. The young company has developed a compact chemical reactor technology that fits inside a commercial ship container. Using solar or wind power, the technology helps drive the clean energy revolution.
